Want to work together? Here’s what you need to know.

lifestyle journalism is totally my thing

I write, edit and produce stories about culture, identity, art, entertainment, food, design, travel, health and fitness, work and money. My favourite pieces cover what's trending and give context and a connection to what is happening in the world. I've recently written or edited stories about the future of remote work, the importance of mentorship for BIPOC folks in business, why wellness is still so white and how Iceland is getting a handle on overtourism.

I started a media brand.

Friday Things is a weekly newsletter aimed at progressive millennials and Gen Zers who want to know the latest pop culture news—and get the context on why it matters. Expect real talk on celebrities travelling during the pandemic, Pizzagate and other conspiracy theories and why we should think just as deeply about Bridgerton as we do “serious” TV shows.

I love smart storytelling.

That means planning a solid editorial package that makes an impact on every platform. My first question is always, "Is this great content?" The second is, "How does this story get told in print vs. web vs. video vs. audio vs. social?" I know how to conceptualize features that work just as well online as they do in print, ideate and execute compelling, SEO-optimized web stories and conceptualize and plan compelling video and audio content.

I'm a pro.

Which means I don't miss deadlines, always have notes ready for the fact checking department and excel at forward planning, strategic thinking, research and reporting.
